University Visit at IIMS College
A series of notable events are lining up from 6th November to 1st December encompassing the University Visit as reputable guests from the affiliated Taylor’s University of Malaysia are visiting IIMS College. The University Visit holds a significant importance as the students will be receiving valuable knowledge and expertise directly from the foreign professors and will be gaining peak university experience. The details of the University Visit are as follows:
A/P Dr Joaquim Dias Soeiro, Head of School at the School of Hospitality, Tourism & Events and Frederic Cerch, Director at the Taylor’s Culinary Institute will be visiting the college on 6th and 7th November. Staff-Student meet up including Student Interaction and Engagement is scheduled on 6th November. On the same day, holding a talk session associated with Professionalism in Workplace module is also on discussion.
A Fine Dining Event i.e. A Culinary Partnership along with Wine Pairing is scheduled on November 7th at Aranya Boutique Hotel from 5:00 pm onwards.This high-end event will let guests relish the sophisticated fine dining experience at its finest.
Lim Chee Leong, Director at the Learning Innovation and Development will be visiting the college on 8 & 9th November. He will be conducting Pedagogy Training for all the IIMS staff and faculty members.
A/P Dr Sayan Kumar Ray, Head of School at the School of Computer Science and Prof Dr Noor Zaman Jhanjhi, Professor at the School of Computer Science will be at the college premises on 30th November and 1st December for College Visit, Staff-Student meet up and Student Interaction and Engagement.
The University Visit will allow students, staff and faculty members to interact with official representatives of the University, help expand knowledge and explore collaboration opportunities further in the upcoming days.
