IIMS College recently organized a powerful and eye-opening session titled “Future Forward: Cultivating Emotional Wellbeing in Youth”. This event was for our BIHM 2nd semester students. It took place on 3rd August at the beautiful Aranya Boutique Hotel.
Expert-Led Workshop on Emotional Wellbeing
The workshop was led by Mr. Krishna Maruthur. He is a respected Wellbeing Habits Specialist with experience in the USA, UK, India, and Nepal. Additionally, he is the founder of Hapimi Habits and author of Wellbeing Habits for Working Women. With a psychology degree from the University of Essex, Mr. Maruthur brought both knowledge and practical insights to the session.

Engaging Activities for Students
Throughout the morning, students took part in interactive activities, group discussions, and self-reflective tasks. They learned how to understand their emotions better and manage stress in healthy ways. Moreover, they built habits that improve both academic and personal life. Mr. Maruthur introduced simple but powerful techniques. These included mindful breathing, daily habit tracking, and setting small, achievable goals. As a result, students left the session with tools they could use right away. These tools will help them improve focus, confidence, and overall emotional wellbeing.
