IIMS LOCKDOWN CARNIVAL
Amid the Lockdown, all academic activities via face-to-face interaction have been at a halt since the 24th of March, 2019. During the Lockdown, several interactive sessions as well as classes are being organized virtually. However, with the passing time, the students kind of have started feeling monotonous about the current situation.
Keeping students' mental health in mind, the college is organizing a virtual musical festival “IIMS Lockdown Carnival”. The event would be premiered via YouTube as well as college’s other social media handles will also be used for the event.
The major objective behind conducting this virtual event is to ensure students are engaged with something productive along with their virtual classes during the Lockdown period. Student engagement during this period will ensure that they are in a proper mindset.
In addition, the IIMS Lockdown Carnival also provides ample opportunity for students to showcase their talent, which to some extent, has been halt due to the pandemic. All events and activities for the past few months have been halt, to comply with the government policies as well as to ensure everyone’s safety.
However, to compensate that, we bring you the “IIMS Lockdown Carnival” with musical performances, dance, and several other students’ performances. The performances would be premiered via IIMS Creations YouTube Channel (Link here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHmfq5y9GvsG-AillPnl-cA ), every Saturday’s, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s throughout August and September, starting from the 1st of August. The premieres will be scheduled for 6:00 PM on Saturday’s and 12:00 Noon on Tuesdays’ and Thursday’s.
PS: All preventive measures from social distancing to sanitization have been followed as per government instruction.
