The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors, students, parents, and staff. This role involves managing front desk operations, handling inquiries, and ensuring smoothcommunication within the college. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents in a courteous and professional manner.
-Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and emails promptly.
-Provide accurate information about college programs, departments, and procedures.
-Maintain visitor logs and ensure security procedures are followed.
-Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and courier services.
-Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy, organized, and presentable.
-Support administrative and clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation.
-Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings as required.
-Assist in internal communications and event coordination when needed.
-Perform other duties assigned by the Administration or HR Department.
-Bachelor’s degree preferred (minimum +2 completed).
-Prior experience in a receptionist or front-desk role is an advantage.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
-Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
-Well-groomed, professional, and polite demeanor.
-Ability to multitask and handle a busy work environment efficiently.
