IIMS College hosted an insightful Experience Sharing Session featuring Ms. Alisha Pandit, a BIHM Jan 2024 alumna and currently a Supervisor at Taylor’s Café. The session provided students with an opportunity to hear directly from an alumna about her academic journey, professional experiences, and transition from student life into the hospitality industry.
The session focused on the value of learning beyond the classroom and how academic experiences can contribute to professional growth. Sharing from her own journey, Alisha discussed the lessons and experiences she gained during her time at IIMS and how these experiences have shaped her approach to working in the hospitality sector.
As a hospitality professional, Alisha also shared practical perspectives from her current role at Taylor’s Café, giving students a closer look at the expectations, responsibilities, and learning opportunities that come with working in the industry.
The interactive session encouraged students to engage through questions and conversations, creating an open space for them to learn from real professional experiences. The discussion also highlighted the importance of developing practical skills, staying curious, and continuously learning throughout one’s career.
