Chef de’ IIMS 2026 Showcases Culinary Creativity

The Bachelor of International Hospitality Management (BIHM) January 2026 Intake students successfully organized Chef de’ IIMS 2026, an exciting Mystery Box Challenge that brought together aspiring chefs to showcase their creativity, teamwork, and culinary expertise. The event provided an exciting platform for aspiring chefs to demonstrate their technical expertise, teamwork, and ability to perform under pressure in a competitive kitchen environment.

Designed to simulate real-world culinary challenges, the competition required participating teams to prepare an exceptional three-course meal using a selection of mystery ingredients that were revealed only at the start of the challenge. With limited preparation time and no prior knowledge of the ingredients, participants relied on their culinary techniques, creativity, and quick decision-making to craft dishes that impressed the judging panel.

Throughout the competition, the atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as teams collaborated to transform unexpected ingredients into innovative appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The challenge encouraged participants to think beyond conventional recipes, showcasing their adaptability, presentation skills, flavour combinations, and overall execution while managing time effectively.

The prepared dishes were carefully evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges based on creativity, taste, presentation, technical execution, originality, teamwork, and effective use of the mystery ingredients. Their constructive feedback offered valuable learning opportunities and inspired participants to continue refining their culinary skills.

Following a highly competitive round, the winners of Chef de’ IIMS 2026 were announced:

🥉 Third Place: Santosh Dhakal & Sanish Chaudhary
