On 1st December 2025, IIMS College hosted the workshop “Bridging Gender Gaps in Career”, focusing on SDG 5: Gender Equality. The session created a welcoming space for students to understand, discuss, and reflect on ways to promote equal opportunities in the professional world.
The workshop featured insightful talks by Shubhechha Vaidya and Yuga Thapa, who shared their experiences and practical strategies for overcoming challenges in the workplace. They discussed how biases and unequal expectations can affect career growth and how young professionals can navigate these challenges with confidence and awareness.
Students actively participated throughout the session, sharing their own thoughts, asking questions and engaging in meaningful discussions. The workshop offered students simple yet powerful tools to approach professional life with fairness, respect and inclusivity.
