The BIHM January 2025 Intake Students organised two engaging initiatives focused on innovation, creativity, industry insights, and the future of hospitality.
The Hotel Innovation Management Prototype Display/Exhibition provided students with a platform to showcase their creative ideas and innovative prototypes. Through hands-on learning and practical application, students transformed their concepts into tangible prototypes, exploring new possibilities and innovative solutions within the hospitality industry. The exhibition reflected the students’ creativity, critical thinking, and understanding of how innovation can contribute to enhancing hospitality experiences.
Alongside the prototype exhibition, the students also organised a panel discussion on “The Role of Innovation in Shaping Hospitality Leaders in Nepal.” The insightful discussion brought together industry professionals Roshan Khadka, Kamala Rai, and Anjana Khadka, who shared their experiences, perspectives, and valuable insights on innovation and leadership in the hospitality sector.
The panellists discussed the evolving hospitality landscape and highlighted the importance of innovation, adaptability, creativity, and industry knowledge in preparing future hospitality leaders. The discussion also provided students with an opportunity to gain valuable insights from professionals with industry experience and understand the changing expectations and opportunities within the hospitality sector.
Together, the two initiatives created a meaningful learning experience that connected classroom knowledge with practical application and industry perspectives.
