Our BIHM September 2025 students recently hosted an inspiring event, “Hariyo House”, at Krystal Banquet. The event focused on combining hospitality with sustainability and provided a platform for students to learn practical ways to make the hospitality industry more eco-friendly.

The event featured three incredible speakers: Mr. Bhuwan Chalise, E-waste Manager at Doko Recyclers, Ms. Roji Maharjan, Founder of Project Green Circle, and Ms. Sarala Maharjan, Founder of Sakai Bio-enzyme. They shared their experiences and ideas on taking eco-friendly initiatives, “From the Himalayas to the World.”
The students actively participated, asking questions and discussing ways sustainability can be applied in hotels, restaurants, and other areas of hospitality. The event highlighted the importance of responsible practices and the role of future hospitality leaders in creating a greener planet.
It was a day full of learning, inspiration, and a shared commitment to sustainability. Our students left motivated to make a real difference in the hospitality industry while caring for the environment.
