IIMS College organised a Finance Literacy Session for its BIHM January 2024 Intake on 24 September 2026, giving students an opportunity to explore financial awareness, digital payments, and informed financial decision-making.
The session was led by Mr. Subodh Chandra Neupane, Manager – Neo Payment, SCT, who shared practical insights into the changing landscape of financial services and digital payment systems. His industry perspective provided students with an opportunity to connect concepts related to finance with their practical applications in everyday life and the professional environment.
Throughout the session, students explored important aspects of financial literacy, including the role of digital payments, responsible financial practices, and the importance of making informed financial decisions. The interactive learning environment also encouraged students to engage with the topic beyond theoretical knowledge.
For hospitality management students, understanding financial practices is an important part of developing well-rounded professional skills. Exposure to industry professionals and real-world financial practices can help students build awareness that extends beyond their academic coursework.
