IIMS College successfully organized an insightful guest session on “Promoting Integrity and Legal Frameworks Against Corruption” for BCS (May 2026 Intake) students. The session was conducted by Ms. Simran Napit, Judicial Officer at the Supreme Court of Nepal, providing students with an in-depth understanding of the legal and ethical foundations required to combat corruption and promote accountability.

During the session, Ms. Napit highlighted the significance of integrity as a cornerstone of a transparent and just society. She discussed Nepal’s legal framework for preventing and addressing corruption, the role of judicial institutions in safeguarding justice, and the responsibilities of individuals in upholding ethical standards in both personal and professional life.

Students gained valuable insights into anti-corruption laws, judicial processes, and the importance of accountability in strengthening public trust and good governance. The interactive session also encouraged students to think critically about the ethical challenges faced in today’s society and the role future professionals can play in fostering integrity across different sectors.

The session concluded with an engaging discussion, where students had the opportunity to interact with Ms. Napit, ask thought-provoking questions, and deepen their understanding of Nepal’s judicial system and legal mechanisms against corruption. Such industry and expert-led sessions continue to bridge academic learning with real-world knowledge, empowering students to become responsible professionals and ethical leaders of tomorrow.
