Student wellbeing is a top priority. From assignment loads, and college work to other commitments, students juggle their studies and personal life. During such a period when students are focused on self-development and creating a base for their careers, they face loads of stress. Therefore, stress management is highly crucial for students. On that note, on 10th January 2025, a valuable session on Stress Management to improve student wellbeing was held for the BBA 2021 Batch at IIMS College.
Esteemed mental health professionals conducted stress management sessions for our students. They were Angelica Khatri, a counseling psychologist, and Dipesh Tandukar, an industry/organizational psychologist, both co-founders of FHEAL.
The session provided students with invaluable insights on stress, its impact on academic performance, and practical coping mechanisms. The expert speakers also emphasized the importance of recognizing stress triggers, developing healthy coping strategies, and prioritizing self-care.
Moreover, the interactive session encouraged active participation from the students, fostering a supportive and open environment for discussions. Students thus gained valuable knowledge and practical tools to manage stress and improve their overall well-being effectively.
Overall, this stress management session served as a valuable reminder for students to prioritize their mental health alongside their academics. Through sessions like these, the college thus aims to create a supportive learning environment that contributes to both academic and personal growth.
