From January 6th to the end of February, BCS students from the January 2023 and August 2022 intakes undergo an intensive computer science training program on various in-demand computer science skills. This will thus equip our students to stay competitive in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.
This comprehensive training program features a diverse curriculum delivered by industry professionals. This training focuses on mastering the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js), a powerful JavaScript-based framework for building dynamic web applications. The training covers core JavaScript concepts, front-end and back-end development, database management, API creation, and modern development tools. Moreover, this module equips students with the skills to develop and deploy real-world applications, including:

Python with AI:
This module introduces students to the versatile Python programming language and its applications in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Participants will thus gain expertise in core Python concepts, machine learning, deep learning, data analysis, and AI-specific libraries. Additionally, the training covers a range of AI applications, including:

Cybersecurity: Ethical Hacking with AI:
This training focuses on the principles of ethical hacking and integrating AI and machine learning techniques for advanced threat detection and defense. That is to say, students will learn to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and develop AI-powered solutions to combat cyber threats. Also, the curriculum includes hands-on labs and a capstone project where students apply their knowledge to design and implement an AI-enhanced security framework for a simulated enterprise network.
