Our BCS (Sept. 2024 / Jan. 2025 Intake) students participated in the workshop “Data Engineering for Analytics: Mastering NumPy and Pandas”, designed to strengthen their foundation in modern data analytics and data engineering practices.
The session provided in-depth exposure to essential concepts in data handling, including data loading, cleaning, transformation, and structured analysis using Python’s most widely used libraries NumPy and Pandas. Students explored how raw and unorganized datasets are processed step-by-step into structured formats suitable for analysis and interpretation.
Through guided demonstrations and real-world datasets, participants gained clarity on how data flows in real analytical environments. The workshop also emphasized practical thinking, helping students understand how data tools are applied in real industry scenarios rather than only theoretical learning.
Led by Er. Arbin Yadav, Data Science Engineer, the session focused on bridging academic knowledge with practical application. His guidance helped students understand industry workflows, efficient data manipulation techniques, and the importance of accuracy and structure in data-driven decision-making.
Overall, the workshop created a strong learning environment where students were able to connect concepts with practice and build confidence in using essential data analytics tools.
