The Career Placement and Internship Unit (GDS) at IIMS College successfully organized The Corporate Bridge: Hospitality Edition, an industry engagement initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice. The event provided Bachelor of International Hospitality Management (BIHM) students with an exceptional opportunity to interact with some of Nepal’s most prestigious hospitality organizations, gain valuable industry exposure, and explore future internship and career pathways.
The event welcomed participation from renowned hospitality brands, including Yak & Yeti Kathmandu, Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu, Hotel Barahi Kathmandu, Marriott Kathmandu, Moxy Kathmandu, and Dusit Thani Hotels & Resorts. Representatives from these organizations engaged with students, sharing valuable insights into the hospitality industry’s evolving landscape, workplace expectations, emerging career opportunities, and the essential skills required to excel in a highly competitive global environment.
