IIMS College hosted STARTUP SPRINT: Idea Pitching Challenge, an engaging platform designed to encourage entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, and innovation among students of the Bachelor of Business September 2026 Intake.
The challenge brought students together to present their startup ideas, share their vision, and explore how innovative concepts can be transformed into meaningful business opportunities. From identifying problems and proposing solutions to presenting their ideas with confidence, the participants demonstrated their ability to think creatively and approach business challenges with an entrepreneurial mindset.
The event provided students with an opportunity to step beyond traditional classroom learning and experience the process of developing and pitching a business idea. Through their presentations, participants explored different concepts, perspectives, and possibilities while gaining valuable experience in communicating their ideas to an audience.
A key highlight of the event was the presence of esteemed judges Ms. Melisha Rajopadhyaya, People Operations Leader & Leadership Coach, and Mr. Utsab Gautam, Founder & Managing Director, Business & Investment Consultant. Their professional experience and insights added valuable perspectives to the pitching challenge, helping students understand the importance of clear communication, strong ideas, practical thinking, and confidence when presenting a business concept.
The challenge also encouraged students to embrace creativity, take initiative, and look at entrepreneurship as a journey of continuous learning and experimentation. By putting their ideas forward and receiving expert perspectives, participants gained an understanding of what it takes to move from an initial concept towards a potential venture.
STARTUP SPRINT was a celebration of ideas, ambition, and the entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation of business leaders.
