The “Platter to Plate” – A 4-Course Dining Experience, organized by the BIHM Sept 2025 & Jan 2026 intake students of IIMS College at Taylor’s Cafe, Naxal, has come to an end after delivering an engaging and enriching culinary journey for both students and guests.
Held from June 30 to July 3, 2026, the student-led dining experience served as a practical learning platform where aspiring hospitality professionals demonstrated their culinary skills, creativity, teamwork, and service excellence in a real-time fine dining environment.
Throughout the four-day event, students were actively involved in every aspect of the dining operation, including menu preparation, food production, plating, guest service, and overall dining experience management. The event provided valuable hands-on exposure, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting while developing essential industry skills.
The carefully curated four-course menu showcased the students’ dedication to culinary craftsmanship and hospitality excellence. Guests had the opportunity to experience thoughtfully prepared dishes, elegant presentation, and professional service, all delivered by the future leaders of the hospitality industry. The event also provided students with opportunities to strengthen their communication skills, teamwork, time management, and operational efficiency in a live hospitality setting.
The success of the dining experience was made possible through the support and participation of guests who joined and encouraged the students throughout the event. Their appreciation and feedback served as valuable motivation for the students as they continue to develop their professional competencies.
Through initiatives such as these, IIMS College continues to bridge academic learning with practical experience, empowering students to build confidence, refine their skills, and prepare for successful careers in the hospitality industry.
