The 5-course Japanese dining experience held at Taylor’s Cafe brought together BIHM Sept 2025 & Jan 2026 intake students from IIMS College in a dynamic, real-time fine dining setup designed to provide practical exposure in professional hospitality operations.
Over the course of the series, students actively participated in all aspects of the dining service from menu preparation and kitchen execution to plating, presentation, and front-of-house service. Every dish served during the experience was self-prepared by the students, reflecting their growing culinary expertise, discipline, and attention to detail.

The event emphasized core hospitality values such as teamwork, time management, precision, and guest handling. Students worked collaboratively to deliver an authentic Japanese dining experience, ensuring each course was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and served with professional care.

This hands-on training allowed students to experience real-world restaurant operations, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry practice. Guests were able to enjoy a carefully curated Japanese menu while witnessing the dedication and skill of future hospitality professionals in action.
Following the Japanese dining series, Taylor’s Cafe will introduce a new culinary chapter next week with an exciting Italian dining series, offering guests another opportunity to experience diverse international cuisines prepared and served by students.
