The event brought together enthusiastic participants eager to explore the exciting world of cybersecurity through a series of interactive and practical challenges. Designed in a Capture The Flag (CTF) format, FLAG QUEST 2026 encouraged students to think critically, analyze clues, and apply logical reasoning to solve problems and uncover hidden flags.
Throughout the challenge, participants explored various cybersecurity concepts, including decoding hidden messages, inspecting website elements, analyzing source code, and understanding basic web security mechanisms. Students also gained hands-on experience with tools and techniques such as Browser Developer Tools and Base64 decoding, allowing them to experience how cybersecurity professionals approach real-world challenges.
By combining learning with practical application, the event successfully created an accessible entry point for students interested in technology and cybersecurity. Participants not only gained valuable knowledge but also developed confidence in exploring new technical concepts and tools.
Organized by the IIMS Cybersecurity Club, FLAG QUEST 2026 served as an excellent platform for students to learn, challenge themselves, and take their first steps into the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity.
