IIMS College was honored to welcome Dr. Gopinath Sangaran, Senior Lecturer, School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Taylor’s University, for an engaging guest session titled “Managing Projects: From Start to Finish.”
The session was conducted for BIHM Sept. 2023 Intake (9th Semester) students and focused on providing practical and industry-relevant insights into project management. Dr. Sangaran shared valuable knowledge on key areas such as project planning, execution strategies, leadership roles, team coordination, and the successful delivery of projects in real-world scenarios.
Through an international academic perspective, the session helped students understand how effective project management contributes to organizational success, especially within the hospitality and tourism industry. The interactive discussion also encouraged students to think critically about leadership challenges and decision-making in professional environments.
