IIMS College hosted Future Fridays at IIMS: Vol. 1 – Hospitality Showcase and Social Innovation Project on 7 August 2026, creating an engaging platform for +2 Appeared Students to experience the college’s vibrant learning environment, innovation, creativity, and hospitality education firsthand.
A key highlight of the event was the Vol. 1 – Hospitality Showcase, organized as the first project by Pre-University Appearing Students at IIMS College. As their first project experience, students took on various responsibilities, from planning and coordination to hosting guests and managing different aspects of the showcase. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and creativity reflected the practical and experiential learning approach at IIMS.
The Hospitality Showcase featured an exciting Culinary Showcase, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the creativity and practical skills developed by students in the Bachelor of International Hospitality Management (BIHM) program. The showcase provided a glimpse into the hands-on learning environment and the diverse possibilities within the hospitality industry.
Adding to the experience were 21 Social Innovation IoT Projects, where students demonstrated technology-driven solutions designed to address real-world social challenges. From innovative concepts to practical prototypes, the projects highlighted the students’ ability to combine creativity, technology, and problem-solving to develop meaningful solutions.
The event also featured fun games, interactive activities, and engaging experiences, creating a lively campus atmosphere for visitors. Students participated enthusiastically throughout the day, while guests had the opportunity to explore the campus, interact with students, and experience the vibrant academic and social environment at IIMS College.
More than just a showcase, the event marked the beginning of a journey of learning by doing for the students involved. Organizing their first project gave them valuable exposure to teamwork, leadership, communication, coordination, and event management while allowing them to put their classroom learning into practice.
Future Fridays at IIMS reflects the college’s commitment to experiential and project-based learning, encouraging students to explore their interests, develop practical skills, think creatively, and take on real-world challenges. Vol. 1 – Hospitality Showcase was a meaningful first milestone for the Pre-University Appearing Students, setting the stage for many more opportunities to learn, create, collaborate, and grow throughout their journey at IIMS College.
