At IIMS College, learning goes far beyond the classroom, and today’s session was a powerful reminder of that. Our BIHM (Bachelor of International Hospitality Management) students had the privilege of engaging in a thought-provoking session titled “Solving Problems Through Empathy in the Entrepreneurship Journey”, led by the dynamic and insightful Mr. Akash Pant, Co-founder of Paakshala Academy of Hospitality & Revenue Growth Pvt. Ltd.
The session was designed to help students understand the crucial role empathy plays in building meaningful businesses. Mr. Pant shared personal experiences, practical examples, and heart-touching stories that demonstrated how understanding people’s problems, emotions, and needs can lead to innovative solutions and long-term success in the entrepreneurial world. From the importance of emotional intelligence to developing people-first business models, the session was packed with simple yet impactful takeaways. Students were not only motivated but also left with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to approach challenges with compassion and a solution-oriented mindset.
At IIMS College, we strive to expose our students to real-world perspectives by connecting them with industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. This session was a perfect example of our mission to provide education that inspires action.
We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Akash Pant for sharing his time, experience, and valuable insights with our students. Sessions like these not only spark inspiration but also strengthen the foundation of practical learning that we emphasize at IIMS. This is why IIMS offers one of the best Hospitality Management courses and stands proudly as one of the top colleges in Nepal.
