IIMS College recently concluded a three-day learning session titled “From Data to Decisions: How Databases Power Modern Applications” for the BCS September 2025 Intake Students. The session focused on helping students develop a deeper understanding of databases and their role in powering modern digital applications.
The session was led by Mr. Nishesh Shakya, Database Administrator at Percod IT Solutions, who shared his industry experience and practical knowledge of working with databases in a professional environment. His insights helped students gain a clearer perspective on how database technologies are applied beyond the classroom.
Throughout the three-day session, students explored key aspects of database management, including how data is stored, organized, accessed, and managed efficiently. The sessions also highlighted the importance of well-structured and reliable data in supporting modern applications and enabling organizations to make informed decisions.
