On November 19th, our BIHM January 2024 students had an enriching industrial visit to Yak Brewing Company in Barahsinghe. This visit provided a unique opportunity to step beyond the classroom and experience the real workings of a modern brewery.
Students explored various aspects of brewery operations, from production processes to quality management and interacted directly with industry experts. This hands-on experience gave them valuable insights into hospitality management and the practical skills required to thrive in the field.
The visit not only strengthened their technical understanding but also inspired them to think creatively about applying these learnings in their future careers as hospitality professionals. Experiences like these play a key role in shaping confident and industry-ready hoteliers.
