On November 16, our BIHM September 2025 intake students had an enriching industrial visit to the Holiday Inn Resort Kathmandu by IHG. The visit provided a unique opportunity for students to experience hotel operations up close and understand the day-to-day workings of the hospitality industry.
Guided by experienced professionals, students observed various hotel departments, learned practical skills, and gained insights into how theory from the classroom translates into real-world practice. This hands-on experience allowed them to better understand guest services, management processes, and the overall functioning of a hotel.
The visit was not only educational but also inspiring, helping students connect their academic learning with career aspirations in the hospitality sector. Experiences like these are essential in shaping the future leaders of the industry.
