The moment we entered the Aranya Boutique Hotel, showed our tickets and were escorted to our designated seats, we were transported to an era of elegance and refinement. The classic décor, with its gold accents and crisp white linens, set the atmosphere promising us an experience of fine dining at its finest. We couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement as we get ready to dive into a culinary adventure highlighting a seamless fusion of culinary expertise from IIMS College, Taylor’s University, and Aranya Boutique Hotel.
On November 7, 2023, a symphony of gastronomic delights unfolded. IIMS College, Taylor’s University, and Aranya Boutique Hotel joined together to present “A Culinary Partnership: Experience Fine Dining Gala Dinner with Wine Pairing”. Held at the exquisite Aranya Boutique Hotel, the event brought together celebrated chefs from France at Taylor’s University, Dr. Joaquim Dias Soeiro and Chef Frederic Cerchi with master chefs from IIMS College, Chef Mahima Shrestha and Aranya Boutique Hotel, Chef Niroj Dangol.
The evening commenced with an elegant ambiance, warm service by the students of IIMS College, and live soulful jazz music playing in the background welcoming over 60+ guests from different corporate houses including lecturers, family, and friends of college staff and students. A culinary spectacle unveiled before the guests, a four-course meal meticulously paired with fine wines, demonstrating a testament to the perfect blend of culinary partnership.
The first course “Appetizer”, a Citrus and Vanilla Salmon Tartare served with Vegetable “firework,” was a visual delight. The dish melted in the mouth, its richness balanced by the vibrant freshness of the vegetable “firework.”
The second course “Soup”, The Traditional Roasted Pumpkin velouté served with Black truffle cloud and Crispy “Mouillette” was a symphony of flavors, also providing a Main course
The main course offered a choice of two equally tempting options: the Grain mustard Braised Pork, served with Garlic Mashed potatoes, Orange and carrot puree, and the Pan seared Pesto Stuffed Chicken breast, Garlic Mashed potatoes, Orange and carrot puree, grain mustard Sauce.
The last course “Dessert” included The Passion of Chocolate, a decadent masterpiece that left a lasting impression. A rich chocolate mousse, layered with a delicate chocolate ganache and topped with a crispy chocolate tuile, was the epitome of indulgence.
As the final course was savored, a sense of contentment washed over the guests. The Seamless Fusion Culinary Extravaganza had been an evening of pure indulgence, a celebration of food, art, and hospitality.
