As one of Malaysia’s first private universities, UCSI University has long impacted the national higher education landscape and the University continues to do so with its wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. 

The University’s academic staff are at the forefront of their disciplines and their views are highly sought after on major issues; from business to political science. Many of our academics have extensive experience working overseas and some play advisory roles in public bodies and various committees. ONE OF THE WORLD'S TOP 400 UNIVERSITIES

UCSI University has once again improved its rankings in the QS World University Rankings 2021. This time, the University climbed 51 spots to be ranked 391, placing it among the world’s top 400 varsities. This milestone is a result of a consistent university-wide push for excellence and performance as the University strives to continuously improve its ranking and academic standards in the coming years.

BEST IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

In the 2019 and 2020 QS World University Rankings, UCSI University emerged as the best private university in the Southeast Asia (ASEAN). The push to attain quality and excellence at UCSI University is a never-ending effort - an effort, certainly; never ending, definitely.

TOP PRIVATE VARSITY, AGAIN

UCSI University is distinguished as Malaysia’s best private university for the second year in a row, according to the QS World University Rankings 2020. The University rose 39 spots to be ranked 442 amongst the world’s universities, once again placing it in the top 2% of all universities in the world. A product of sheer excellence and determination, UCSI has once more reflected its commitment to scale newer heights.

AMONGST THE WORLD’S BEST, ONCE AGAIN

For the second time in history, UCSI University consolidated a spot in the top 100 rankings for Performing Arts in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2019. Our achievement of finishing within the top 100 out of 1,353 other universities worldwide further cements UCSI’s Institute of Music’s status as Malaysia’s best and one of the most respected music schools in the region.

UCSI UNIVERSITY GETS AFFIRMED BY THE UNU

UCSI University became the first private university in Malaysia to be recognised as a Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) by the United Nations University (UNU) – the academic and research arm of the UN.

UCSI UNIVERSITY RANKED AS MALAYSIA’S #1 PRIVATE UNIVERSITY

UCSI University is now Malaysia’s top private university as it had beaten their peers by breaching the top 500 of the 2019 QS World University Rankings. Ranking proudly at the 481-spot in the world, UCSI University is now in the top two percent of all universities globally and it is the first time UCSI is featured in the QS World University Rankings.

QS University Rankings: Asia 2018

UCSI is ranked as the 212th best university in Asia in the QS University Rankings: Asia 2018 exercise - placing it in the top 1.8% of all universities evaluated.
