Friday, December 5th, 2014 while the half of the world was still half awake, early in the morning at 6:00 A.M., students of BBA first semester students were gathering at Lincoln International College, Dhobidhara premise for the experience of life-time, a 3-hours intensive Rafting at Trishuli River followed by games, BBQ, late night entertainments and rest in camp, organized by Lincoln international College as a orientation and refreshment trip at Royal Beach Camp, Dhading.
Without further delay, all attendees (students, Faculties, management teams) reached the venue at 10:30 am, and had Breakfast/Lunch. The excitement and thrill of this real adventure event was quiet exhilarating and intense as it was backed by continuous singing and entertainment while in the coach itself.
Though most of the rafters were first timer, their will, devotion, determination led to accomplishment of the mission despite the high tides and unexpected rapids, which are quiet praise worthy.
This not only includes boys but girls who didn’t even know how to swim, they were great risk taker. We were excited but fear within us dominated that excitement. With fear and excitement we headed 20 km towards twisting and turning along the current of Trishuli River. It seems though everyone was mentally prepared to face any challenge that would make us unsuccessful. Excellent Team-Work Everyone !!!
